Phil and Dom, co-founders of EasyA [easya.io], talk about how they built one of Web3's most popular apps. With millions of users around the world, EasyA has quickly become the number 1 app for anyone looking to learn blockchain. Projects launched by the EasyA community are valued at over $3 billion and EasyA alumni have been funded by a16z, Founders Fund, YC and other top VCs. EasyA is also one of the few crypto apps to have ever won Apple's highly coveted "App of the Day" award.


Phil Kwok is the co-founder and CEO of EasyA. He is a computer scientist and expert in blockchain, having joined in 2013 and contributed to a number of open source protocols. He is also a leader in education, and came top of his year as a scholar at Cambridge University, winning the prestigious College, Foundation, Squire, Falcon, Ziegler, Ginsberg, Somogyi and HAT scholarships, amongst others. He was one of the youngest people ever to pass the New York Bar, and has served in numerous educational positions, such as guest lecturer at Cambridge University and mentor to the Pembroke College, Cambridge University LEAP Programme. Most recently, Phil was awarded the Leading Alumni Award by Cambridge University, given to only 5 other alumni in the history of the university for outstanding achievements in their careers.


Dom Kwok is the co-founder of EasyA. Dom graduated Cum Laude from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded both the prestigious Joseph Wharton Scholarship and Benjamin Franklin Scholarship. Prior to EasyA, Dom worked at The Blackstone Group, Goldman Sachs and was one of the first employees at CloudKitchens, launched by Uber Founder Travis Kalanick.
