Akin Jones is the Founder and Group CEO of Aella, building a global mesh banking infrastructure for individuals and small enterprises, starting with Africa. Serving over 2 million users, Aella delivers inclusive, empowerment-focused financial products through a distributed agent network and embedded technology. Prior to Aella, Akin held investment banking roles across Africa and North America. He holds a degree in International Business & Finance from Howard University and is one of the few individuals to complete Y Combinator, 500 Startups, and the Barclays Rise Accelerator.
