David Wolinsky is the Head of Engineering at Aptos labs, a leading Layer 1 blockchain. At Aptos, David helped steer the team through the early phases from devnet to mainnet launch and then onwards to making Aptos tech stack accessible and easy for enterprise and ecosystem developers alike. Prior to Aptos, David led the Web3 platform team at Facebook that enabled Facebook and Instagram to connect to Web3.
Before Web3, David spent a decade in academia exploring the intersection of decentralized computing and privacy as a Researcher at Yale University and a PhD from University of Florida.
