Jake Brukhman is the Founder and CEO of CoinFund – one of the world’s most experienced cryptonative investment firms (celebrating 10 years in 2025) and world’s largest liquid strategies – and is widely considered a visionary in the evolution of the web. Raised by two computer scientists, he learned coding at fourteen and holds degrees in mathematics and computer science. A passionate advocate for a decentralized internet, Jake has led prescient investments in DeAI; specifically pre-seed and seed investment in leaders of decentralized training and compute (Prime Intellect, Pluralis, Pearl, Bagel, Gensyn.) His areas of focus are the convergence of web 2.0, web3 and AI to form the rails of our lives for the next era, specifically proof of personhood online; scalability and security for infrastructure; the continued upgrade of the financial system; and onchain IP. Prior to CoinFund, he spent ten years in technology, serving as Partner and CTO at Triton Research, a technical product manager at Amazon.com, and a financial technologist at Highbridge Capital Management.
