Patrick Chang is the Founder and Managing Partner of Dispersion Capital, a venture fund focused on decentralized infrastructure, web3, edge computing, and AI. With nearly two decades of experience investing in infrastructure software, Patrick has been a leading voice in the convergence of blockchain, edge, and AI to enable a decentralized, intelligent future.

Since 2014, he has been an early institutional investor in blockchain, backing foundational projects such as Helium, Alchemy, Dapper Labs/Flow, Forte, Blockstack (STX), Theta, Risc0, Berachain, and 0G. He has invested in 14 startups at inception that became unicorns, bringing deep conviction to disruptive infrastructure bets.

Patrick's career includes leadership roles at top firms like Samsung Next Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, Foundation Capital, and Investor Growth Capital. He began his career in tech investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers, building a strong foundation in M&A and capital markets.
