Robert Leshner is the CEO and Co-founder of Superstate, an asset management firm focused on tokenized financial products. Before Superstate, he co-founded Compound Labs in 2017, pioneering one of the first DeFi applications. Robert is also a venture investor at Robot Ventures and co-hosts The Chopping Block, a crypto-native podcast. He played a key role in designing smart contracts like Governor Bravo and the ERC-7246 token standard, Encumber. Robert holds a degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Additionally, he is the former chair of the San Francisco Revenue Bond Oversight Committee.
