Hackergal’s mission is to inspire girls across Canada to code, create, and become the technology leaders of tomorrow. Through accessible education, a supportive community, and opportunities to build confidence in their skills, Hackergal empowers girls to explore and pursue pathways in STEM.Hackergal’s programming engages girls from middle school through its National Hackathon Program, where learners build coding skills and collaborate on creative tech projects. Support continues into high school through the National Ambassador Program, which provides leadership opportunities and peer mentorship. Both programs are offered at no cost to schools, educators, parents, or students, helping ensure equitable access to technology education. Hackergal embraces an inclusive definition of “girls” and “women,” and welcomes participation from all learners who identify as girls. This approach helps create a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for all participants to thrive, learn, and imagine their futures in technology.
