Register for the event online by clicking HERE.

Consensus passes grant access to the Consensus tradeshow, as well as all sessions, events and receptions, in accordance with pass level, and subject to capacity restrictions. Consensus passes are non-refundable.

Once you have been registered for the Conference, you will receive a registration confirmation email, and you can find your ticket by visiting My Account. If you do not receive a registration confirmation email within 24 hours of purchase, please email us.

You will receive reminders and other communications from us as the event grows closer with more information about your registration and the event.

CoinDesk offers different discounts and promotions (i.e. Academia, Developer, Scholarship, Military Discount, Government official discount). It has the right to void promotional and discount codes if the registrant is not the authorized user of the account that qualifies for the promotion or discount. Your registration will be "pending" until applications are reviewed and the appropriate fee has been paid.

There are no special rates for daily attendance, exhibit hall only etc. If you register using a special rate that is not applicable to you, CoinDesk has the right to charge you for the difference upon notice that CoinDesk does not agree with your selection of the special or discounted rate. All determinations of the discounted/special rates are in the sole discretion of CoinDesk. CoinDesk reserves the right to not provide you with any special rate.

No refunds will be provided for cancellations. Your pass will grant you access to virtual content, or you may transfer your pass to someone else for a $100 transfer fee.

Requests for transfers must be submitted in writing (via email) by Tuesday, April 15, 2025 by contacting us.

All transfer requests are subject to a US $100 administrative fee plus any additional price difference of pass upgrades (e.g., transferring the Pro tier to the Platinum tier).

CoinDesk accepts American Express, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and various cryptocurrencies for payment of registration fees. Payment by invoice can be requested by contacting us.

Please note: All registration fees are non-refundable. For any questions regarding attendee registration, please contact us.

Registration materials will be released only to the individual whose name appears on the badge. Photo identification (driver's license or passport), credit card and/or Conference registration confirmation (barcode) will be required. Business cards are not an acceptable form of identification. Badges are non-transferable after Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

A US$200 non-refundable fee will be charged to replace a badge for any reason,including lost or stolen badges.

All events on-site at Consensus are first come, first served, and all events are subject to Fire Marshall capacity. Most sessions will be streamed on our virtual platform during and available after the event.

CoinDesk reserves the right to exclude any prospective attendee who has engaged in prohibited conduct in prior Consensus conferences from registering or attending Consensus. Furthermore, Company reserves the right to cancel without refund any attendee’s registration for Consensus if any attendee engages in such prohibited conduct. Details regarding prohibited conduct are available in the Terms & Conditions of Attendance.

General Information

Consensus will take place from May 14 to May 16, 2025, at the Metro Toronto Convention Center and various locations in Toronto, Canada. Continue to check CoinDesk.com/consensus for our most up-to-date map and information.

Any reservations made after the cutoff date shall be at the Hotel's current available rate. We encourage you to book your room early as we are expecting rooms to sell out. Please do not contact CoinDesk for hotel reservations or cancellations.

Not for the general conference and festival. Specific events may have a dress code and will be noted in the event-specific details.

Visitors of a foreign country seeking to attend or participate in Consensus 2025 may require appropriate documents to enter Toronto, Canada. The type of documentation required depends on the purpose of the visit, and from which country you reside.

To see the 60+ countries that are Visa-exempt, and thereby eligible to use the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to enter Canada, please see this website. Note that lawful permanent residents of the United States do not require an eTA or any form of Visa, and can enter with just their US passport.

To find out if you need a Visitor Visa, versus just the eTA, you can answer the questions on to find out about your specific circumstances.

If you require a Visitor Visa, you can apply online here. It takes approximately 30 days for processing. Consensus is happy to send you a letter to use in your application. Email requested by contacting us. Note that we will only issue invitations if you are registered for the event.

Note that it is the sole responsibility of the Attendee to take care of any government visa requirements. Attendees who require a visa to enter the jurisdiction in which the Conference is being held should allow sufficient time for the application procedure. Attendees may contact the nearest embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing of their visa applications. Company will not contact embassies and consulates on behalf of Attendees who require visas or provide any other assistance relating to visa issues. Failure to obtain a visa in advance of the Conference does not constitute a valid basis for obtaining a refund.

Yes, complimentary wifi will be available to all registered attendees. The wifi network username and password (if applicable) will be distributed through various materials and signage throughout the event.

Personal belongings such as briefcases, backpacks, purses, coats, book bags, laptops, tablets or mobile devices, etc. should not be left unattended in meeting rooms or public areas. These items are the responsibility of their owner and CoinDesk will not be held responsible for their safekeeping should they become lost or stolen. Additionally, any unattended items may be subject to removal by security upon being discovered. If you lose or find an item, please ask about the lost and found at registration.

For the good of the show and the exhibitors supporting the show, the only legitimate place to conduct business during show hours is within a contracted exhibit space on the show floor. Exhibiting companies are encouraged to protect their investment and report any violations to Company management. Attendees observed soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces, or in another company’s booth, may be ejected from the Conference and may be banned from future conferences in Company’s sole discretion. If you witness this unethical practice during the Conference, please immediately report the offense to show management.

No. Consensus is a private event and maintains a weapons-free policy for all events. Attendees are prohibited from carrying weapons of any kind, including, without limitation, concealed or displayed firearms, and are not permitted to bring weapons onto the conference premises. Attendees' bags may be checked prior to entering a physical, in-person venue (whether part of the physical events or production for the online events) by employees, contractors and/or representatives of: (a) Consensus; (b) the venue for the applicable event; and/or (c) CoinDesk clients or Consensus sponsors. CoinDesk reserves the right, in its sole discretion, without refund, deferral or credit to attendee, to deactivate and/or revoke the registration credentials of an attendee if such attendee violates this policy. Attendees must comply with this policy regardless of the terms of any signs posted on the premises or venue of any event.

Conference Participation

Your name, address, phone number, email address are stored in the bar code on your Conference badge. If you allow an exhibitor to scan your badge, you will be releasing your information to that exhibitor. You should consider your name badge barcode as an electronic business card, enabling you to easily provide your information to an exhibitor if you choose to do so.

Ramps and handrails are spread throughout our facility. Ramps provide a gradual incline accommodating wheelchairs and scooters. Automatic doors, requiring a simple push of the button, are available at select locations around the facility. All four levels within the facility can be accessed via elevators. Each elevator has a bumper safety system. Major buttons in the elevator are readable in Raised Braille. You can reach all buttons from a wheelchair or scooter. Video recording and hybrid events (including webcams, webinars, streaming video content) are prohibited inside the Metro Toronto Convention Center and at all Consensus events unless you have written permission from the CoinDesk Events Team.

By registering for Consensus, you acknowledge and accept that photographs or video taken of you by CoinDesk or its service providers, may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to use in future Conference programs, other promotional material and on CoinDesk.com and its service providers.

Only persons registered for this Conference and wearing the proper badge will be admitted to the conference. For security and safety reasons, badges must be worn at all times.

Anyone found to be counterfeiting, copying or sharing Conference name badges, or using a guest badge when s/he is not eligible for a guest badge, may be subject to sanctions up to and including removal from the Conference.

Consensus registration credentials, including badges, may not be used as a prize or incentive in any form of promotion, contest, game, or sweepstakes without advance written approval from CoinDesk.

Health & Safety

Entrances to official event venues will have security checks, potentially including bag search, metal detection devices and screenings. All bags are subject to search. Attendees are encouraged to consider their bag type and use clear bags (mesh, plastic, vinyl, etc.) to expedite entry.

Safety is a top priority at Consensus. Please prepare for your entry to the event by early arrival. Please note the following precautions and procedures we have in place:

Attendees are encouraged to consider their bag type and use clear bags (mesh, plastic, vinyl, etc.) to expedite entry.

All attendees and guests must have a valid event pass or ticket. If you, or a friend, require medical assistance, please call 911 and locate your nearest medical tent or alert a staff member.

Remember, if you see something, say something. Flag down any staff member or public safety official if you notice something that doesn’t seem right. Call 911 in the event of an emergency. All event access is subject to capacity and on a first-come, first-served basis.
